Robotic “Mouth” Learns to Sing
Written by admin on July 16, 2011 – 5:05 pm -Similar to how a human voice box works, this robot uses air to produce sounds. Researchers are studying how a “robotic mouth” would work and enable robots to someday, sing!
Perhaps some day these robots can not only sing, but also dance and make beautiful music.

Robonaut 2 Will Go Into Space on STS 133

Robonaut 2 will be launching on STS 133 and will help ISS astronauts do chores in space.
The robot was designed and built with collaboration with General Motors.

BlackBerry Controlled Robots (Lego Mindstorm)
Written by admin on November 16, 2009 – 8:22 pm -Last week’s BlackBerry Developer Conference in San Francisco had one new (cool) addition: a robot competition. Developers were asked to create applications on their RIM BlackBerry that controlled one of four Lego Mindstorm robots through an obstacle course.
The winner – James White of the TDC Group – got a shiny new BlackBerry Storm 2 and a Lego Mindstorm kit.
